What even happens on a Tuesday besides tacos? Monday is so fresh, so full of hope. Wednesday is hump day, so it’s at least coming with a title. Thursday is when FRIENDS used to release new episodes,so we will all feel great about Thursdays the rest of our lives. And Fridays, well… do I really need to say anything here?
But Tuesday? Nothing. No feelings. Zero ambition. I have to admit, most Tuesdays I wake up and automatically begin the countdown to Wednesday. I even sometimes go ahead and pretend it’s hump day in my own mind, just to get by.
But what if we re-branded Tuesdays? What if Tuesday became the new Friday? Picture this with me:
It’s Tuesday morning. 7am. Your first thought is no longer, “Tuesdays are dumb.” Instead, your first thought becomes, “It’s finally Tuesday! I’ve been waiting for you since last Wednesday! I thought you would never come again!” Do you think that maybe, just maybe a simple switch in our thoughts like this could make a difference?
I dare you to try it. What’s the worst that can happen? Tuesday just stays lame. Oh well, we are used to that anyways. But what if it becomes your very favorite day of the week EVER? What if you buy all the “Tuesday” gear you can find on Amazon and plaster your home and closet with your new favorite Tuesday things?
