Around this time, many schools are out of session for a fall break. It's a great time to get outdoors and enjoy some activity in the milder weather.
Whether or not you (or someone in your household) gets a fall break, I'm issuing a Fall Fitness Challenge! Go to a cornfield maze, explore a fall festival, pick pumpkins out of a field (instead of a store), walk around an apple orchard (maybe treat yourself to some cider), or go for a bike ride or stroll under the canopy of changing leaves. Yes, you can exercise indoors ... but you get bonus points for getting out in the fresh, crisp fall air!
Please go to our Facebook page and share a picture of the way you're staying active this fall. You just may inspire someone else with your idea!
Yours in Keto,
Rebecca
P.S. Enrollment for our 21-Day Challenge closes soon. Grab your pass now.
This summer, it's time to get creative with your exercise. Your kiddos are home from school, your schedule may be a bit more flexible, and the weather is incredible!
Maybe try a few at-home workouts you find for FREE on YouTube. Or, even hop in the neighborhood pool for a couple of laps, and then grab your kiddos and go for a bike ride. Whatever your choice of movement, make sure your number one goal is to have FUN!
Often, we take exercise way too seriously. We sign up for a HUGE undertaking with a personal trainer, commit our wallets and time to a gym that is not even en route to our workplaces, and believe in our hearts that anything less than an hour-long workout is pointless.
This is just NOT TRUE! As long as your body is moving, your heart and brain and soul will most definitely thank you!
So grab your headphones and enjoy this podcast from the KETO-SIStas while you clean those dreaded bathrooms and change ALL the sheets in the house. (Yes, cleaning is an excellent form of exercise and TOTALLY counts.) This story will encourage you for sure!
And if you choose to exercise outside, enjoy an added bonus of Vitamin D!
